I'm often scheduled six months in advance so email or call first so I can pencil you in on my calendar.
Send hard copy of your mss. in the following format: double-spaced, unbound single-sided pages (Times New Roman font, 12 point pitch). Please don't send certified mail; sometimes my post office runs are late night, so when someone sends a manuscript with 'return receipt requested', I have to make a special trip back.
I charge $3.00 per page for the first 100 pages, or $2.50 per page for the entire manuscript. Please enclose a check with the mss. for the total amount of the editing plus $12.00 for return postage. The check is never deposited until the editing is done and the pages are ready to come back to you. If you prefer, you may enclose a check for half the amount with the mss. and send the balance when I notify you that the editing is done.
Supplying an e-mail address is helpful since I may have questions that we'll need to discuss as I go along.
